What is the difference between B.Sc. fashion designing and B. Des fashion designing?

 So many of us dream of all the glitz and glamour that come with being in the fashion industry. Such hue dreams and a strong will! What more would one need? Well - a qualification. There are many ways of learning the basics - many more now in the digital world. What value then do a b des fashion design or a BSc fashion designing hold?

Before we understand the difference between fashion design degrees, let us understand their importance.

The difference 

Bachelor of Fashion Design is an undergraduate professional course of 4 years duration. It covers the study of creating designs and trends happening in the fashion industry and market.



Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Designing is an undergraduate course of 3 years duration and it deals with the field of Arts. It primarily focuses on the art of application of design in clothing and accessories.

    The study of creating garments and accessories is the focus of the undergraduate subject b des fashion design. Candidates that satisfy the criteria go to the following step of the application procedure.
